Jessica M Wood built a steady legal path from Ohio classrooms to a leadership role in private practice. She earned her Juris Doctor from Capital University Law School in 2010 after completing a Bachelor of Arts at Ohio State University in 2005. Those years in Columbus shaped her professional network and set the stage for a career practiced entirely within Ohio.
She began her law practice the same year she graduated. In 2010 she joined Edward F. Whipps & Associates as an associate lawyer. That early period was a time to learn courtroom procedures, client intake and case management. Four years later she made partner at Wood & Long, LLC. Becoming a partner in 2014 marked a transition from junior associate to a lawyer responsible for case strategy and firm administration.
Her credentials include certification by the Ohio State Bar as a Guardian ad Litem. That credential authorizes her to represent the interests of children and other vulnerable parties in certain court proceedings.
