About Jesse M.
Jesse M. Danoff built his academic foundation at Tulane University, where he completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2006. He went on to earn a Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law in 2011. Those years set the stage for a legal career that led him to practice on the West Coast.
After law school, Danoff relocated to California and entered private practice. Over the next decade he worked his way into firm leadership. In 2021 he was named managing partner of Mitchell & Danoff Law Office. That role put him in charge of both the firm’s business operations and its legal work flow.
Colleagues describe Danoff as methodical in how he organizes matters. He oversees client intake, supervises case teams, and sets internal procedures for handling files. He also meets directly with clients to outline legal strategies and next steps. The responsibilities combine day-to-day management with hands-on legal counseling.
His practice reflects the mixed demands of running a small firm. He spends part of his time on administrative tasks such as staffing and budgeting. He spends the rest on legal work, drafting pleadings, negotiating on behalf of clients, and preparing for hearings. That balance shapes how the office operates and how cases are staffed.
Danoff has kept ties to the academic and civic communities that informed his early years. He completed undergraduate studies in political science and carries that perspective into how he assesses regulatory and policy issues that touch client matters. He also brings an educator’s approach to mentoring junior lawyers in the firm, explaining courtroom procedure and reasoning through case strategy.
Admitted to practice in California, Danoff has focused his professional life on serving clients in that jurisdiction. He manages the Mitchell & Danoff office and directs its legal work, while participating in firm-level decisions about case selection and client services. He currently practices law in California at Mitchell & Danoff, where he serves as managing partner.
