About Jesse

Jesse Jacobs earned his J.D. from Seattle University before launching a legal career in the Pacific Northwest. He studied law in an urban setting and entered practice prepared to work across state lines. His academic training provided classroom and clinic experience that he carried into his first roles as an advocate.

After law school, Jacobs took a route that led him into civil litigation and claims work. He is admitted to practice in both Oregon and Washington. That dual admission has allowed him to represent clients on either side of the Columbia River and to handle matters that cross state boundaries. Over time he has built a routine that mixes case preparation, settlement negotiations and court appearances.

Jacobs joined NW Injury Law Center as a lawyer. At the firm he has worked on matters involving personal injury and claims against insurers. He handles the practical side of case management: gathering records, meeting clients, consulting experts and preparing pleadings. In hearings and depositions he presents factual evidence and advocates for client positions when settlement talks do not resolve disputed issues.

Colleagues describe Jacobs as methodical in his approach to casework. He breaks complex files into manageable tasks and tracks deadlines closely. That steadiness helps when cases involve multiple medical providers, employment records or automobile crash reconstructions. He has experience in front-line client counseling, helping people understand what to expect from the legal process and what decisions might mean for recovery efforts.

Outside the courtroom, Jacobs engages in the administrative and strategic work that supports litigation. He evaluates potential claims, advises on liability and damages theories, and coordinates with outside consultants when cases require specialized analysis. He also keeps abreast of developments in state law that affect injury claims in Oregon and Washington.

Based in Portland, Jacobs works at the firm’s office while serving clients across the region. He maintains an active practice at NW Injury Law Center and handles the full lifecycle of personal injury matters from intake through resolution. He currently represents clients in personal injury matters across Oregon and Washington.
