About Jess
Jess Tepe built a career that bridges storytelling and the law. She arrived in the legal world after earning degrees in journalism and media studies. The path shows in her approach to cases and courtroom documents: clear, concise, and grounded in facts.
Her academic record begins in Cincinnati, where she completed a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism at the University of Cincinnati in 2007. She added a Master of Arts in Journalism & Media Studies from the University of Nevada–Las Vegas in 2009. She later earned a Juris Doctor from Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University in 2016.
Those years in journalism shaped how she analyzes information and communicates it to others. After law school she became licensed to practice in both Ohio and Kentucky. She is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. Active memberships include the Ohio State Bar, the Kentucky State Bar, and the Cincinnati Bar Association.
Tepe practices under the name Jessica Tepe & Assoc., LLC. She handles filings and appearances in state and federal courts where she is admitted. Peers and court records note her attention to procedural detail and to written advocacy. Her background in media studies gives her an edge when preparing evidence and witness statements that must be both accurate and accessible.
Her work — whether drafting motions or advising clients on next steps — is careful and deliberate. She balances an eye for narrative with an understanding of legal mechanics. Outside the courtroom she remains engaged with local bar groups in Ohio and Kentucky, attending meetings and workshops that keep her current on procedural changes and court rules.
She continues to take cases that require solid written advocacy and courtroom readiness. Her current practice focuses on matters in Kentucky and Ohio, including cases filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
