About Jeremy

Jeremy Hanna earned his Juris Doctor and a Graduate Diploma in Civil Law from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University, completing his law degree in 2012. He studied Louisiana’s civil law tradition alongside the common-law curriculum. The dual training informs how he approaches questions that touch both state and federal systems.

After law school, Hanna moved into private practice and began building experience in courtroom work and appellate filings. He is admitted to practice in the state of Louisiana and before multiple federal forums. Over time he has taken on cases that require litigation in district courts and handling procedural and substantive issues on appeal.

Hanna is admitted to the United States District Courts for the Western, Eastern, and Middle Districts of Louisiana, and to the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Those admissions allow him to represent clients in a range of matters that traverse local and federal rules. He has worked on filings and hearings in both trial and appellate settings, drafting briefs, arguing motions, and preparing records for review.

His practice is anchored in courtroom procedure, motion practice, and the appellate process. He combines the civil law perspective he gained in law school with practical courtroom experience. Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparing cases and attentive to procedural detail. Clients who come to him for matters in state and federal tribunals can expect a lawyer who prioritizes clear legal analysis and documented advocacy.

Hanna practices at Hanna Law Office, LLC. He represents clients in matters before Louisiana state courts and federal tribunals, including district courts and the Fifth Circuit, focusing his work on litigation and appellate proceedings in those forums.
