About Jennifer

Jennifer Wilson earned her Juris Doctor from Brigham Young University in 1986. She completed law school during a period of significant change in the profession. The credential set the stage for a long career in practice.

She moved into the practicing bar after graduating. Over the decades she has maintained active ties to several professional organizations. Those memberships have framed much of her professional life and kept her connected to developments in law and practice.

Her associations include current memberships in the Orange County Bar, the J. Reuben Clark Law Society and the American Bar Association. The Orange County affiliation ties her to the local bench and bar. The J. Reuben Clark Law Society reflects links to a national community of lawyers who share a common faith background, and the ABA provides access to national committees and continuing legal education resources.

Wilson’s career has been marked by steady practice rather than public headlines. She has worked on matters that require client counseling, negotiated settlements and courtroom advocacy when necessary. She balances those tasks with the administrative and ethical duties the bar requires. Colleagues describe her as attentive to procedural detail and mindful of clients’ practical needs.

Over time she has adapted to changes in litigation practice and client expectations. The legal landscape has shifted since she entered practice in the mid-1980s. She has incorporated new procedural rules and technological tools into her day-to-day work. That adaptability has informed how she prepares cases, communicates with clients and coordinates with other professionals.

She is an active participant in continuing education offered through professional organizations. Attending bar programs and society events has been a regular part of staying current. These activities feed directly into the work she does for clients and help maintain the professional standards expected by the courts.

Wilson practices at Matsen Voorhees Law. At the firm she represents clients in matters the firm handles and contributes to case preparation, client consultation and courtroom work when cases proceed to trial. She currently practices at Matsen Voorhees Law, where she represents clients in the matters handled by the firm.
