Jennifer Roberta Walters is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 1997. Her license is currently in active status. Ms. Walters is the principal attorney at the Law Office of Jennifer R. Walters, a solo practice located in Nevada City, California. She has been practicing law for over 28 years, serving clients throughout Nevada County and the surrounding areas.
Ms. Walters earned her Juris Doctor degree from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law. Prior to law school, she completed her undergraduate education at California State University, Chico, where she obtained her bachelor's degree. During her time at Thomas Jefferson School of Law, she developed a strong foundation in legal principles and practices.
Ms. Walters concentrates her practice in the areas of criminal law and personal injury. She represents individuals in matters involving criminal defense, including drug crimes, fraud, and theft, as well as personal injury cases such as car accidents and premises liability claims. Her practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout her career, Ms. Walters has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Nevada and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California.
