About Jennifer

Jennifer Naue earned her J.D. from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2017, after beginning law studies in 2014. Her time at McKinney put her in the Indianapolis legal community and set the stage for practice in state courts. She left law school at a moment when family law and alternative dispute resolution were gaining attention among practitioners, and those areas later became part of her professional trajectory.

She is admitted to practice in Indiana and has maintained membership in the State Bar of Indiana since 2017. That affiliation places her in the statewide network of lawyers who handle civil and family matters, and it has provided access to continuing legal education and local court developments.

Naue is a court-certified Domestic Relations Mediator in the State of Indiana. That credential allows her to act in court-referred and privately arranged mediations. In that role she helps parties work through issues such as custody and parenting time, child and spousal support, and the division of marital assets. Mediation work tends to emphasize problem-solving and practical arrangements, and Naue’s mediator status signals training in the procedural and ethical requirements that courts expect of neutral facilitators.

Her practice covers family law matters that arise both inside and outside of mediation. She handles negotiated resolutions and participates in the drafting of settlement agreements that emerge from mediated sessions. When disputes proceed to court, she is familiar with the motion practice and hearings that family law cases often require. That combination of mediation and courtroom experience shapes how she approaches disputes: she often frames legal options in terms parties can use to decide whether to settle or litigate.

Professionally, Naue’s ongoing membership in the State Bar of Indiana since 2017 reflects a steady presence in the local bar. She keeps up with developments affecting family law through the bar’s offerings and other educational programming available to Indiana attorneys. Colleagues and court staff will typically encounter her in matters where mediation is encouraged or required by local rules.

As of 2026 she practices in Indiana, concentrating on family law and serving as a court-certified domestic relations mediator.
