About Jennifer

Jennifer Mihalovich studied behavioral science and law at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, earning her B.A. in 1996. She continued her legal training at Loyola University Chicago, where she received her J.D. in 1999. The two degrees provided a blend of social science perspective and formal legal education that has shaped her approach to cases.

Her first post-law school position was a contract lawyer role with the Arizona Supreme Court in 1999. That early work gave her exposure to court procedures and the demands of judicial workflows. In 2000 she moved into public service as an Assistant Attorney General at the Arizona Attorney General’s Office. There she handled tasks common to government law practice, including legal research, drafting, and participation in administrative and courtroom matters.

Mihalovich later entered private practice. In 2016 she served as an associate lawyer at Stewart Law Group, adding firm-side litigation and client counseling to the mix of public-sector experience she already had. Her career path has therefore crossed three settings: the judiciary, a state legal office, and a private firm. Each setting contributed different skills and perspectives to her work.

She holds admission to practice in Arizona and is also admitted to appear before the U.S. Supreme Court. Locally, she is a member of the Maricopa County Bar Association and of the State Bar of Arizona’s Family Law Section. Those memberships reflect an engagement with professional peers and with the continuing developments in family law practice in Arizona.

Mihalovich maintains a presence across the Phoenix metropolitan area, with offices listed in Phoenix, Gilbert, Chandler, Tempe, Mesa, Peoria, Glendale and Scottsdale. That geographic reach allows her to serve clients across the Valley and handle matters that arise in multiple county jurisdictions.

Her work brings together experience in court systems, state government litigation and private practice. She currently handles family law matters and related proceedings in the Phoenix area.
