About Jennifer
Jennifer Mantoni built a steady legal path through classrooms, courtrooms and small law offices. She combines courtroom experience with mediation training and a sideline in real estate.
Her formal training began in Florida. She earned a B.A. from the University of South Florida in 2007. She then completed an M.A. at Florida Atlantic University in 2011. Mantoni finished law school at Florida Coastal School of Law, receiving her J.D. in 2014.
Early in her legal career she held certified legal intern positions at federal and state offices. Those internships included work at the United States Lawyers Office for the Middle District of Florida and at the State Lawyers Office for the Fourth Judicial Circuit. The internships gave her exposure to prosecutorial work and courtroom procedure.
After law school she moved into civil litigation. She served as a litigation associate at Martin Aequitas, P.A., then at Becker & Poliakoff. She later worked as a litigation associate at the Law Office of Kevin F. Jursinski & Associates. Those roles involved drafting pleadings, managing discovery and appearing in state court on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants.
Mantoni added procedural depth when she became a Florida Supreme Court certified circuit and county court mediator in 2021. She also holds a REALTOR license in Florida, a credential that ties into her work on property and housing matters. Her professional affiliations include membership in the Maryland Bar (current since 2020), participation in BNI Harbor Professionals since 2019 and membership in the Florida Manufactured Housing Association since 2017.
In 2019 she founded Mantoni Legal, P.A. The firm handles a range of litigation matters and advises clients on housing and real estate issues. Colleagues describe her as methodical in case preparation and persistent in courtroom settings. Clients see the combination of litigation experience and a licensed realtor as practical when disputes touch property questions.
Mantoni is admitted to practice in Florida and Maryland. She maintains active involvement in regional professional groups and uses mediation credentialing to offer alternate dispute resolution options. She practices at Mantoni Legal, P.A., handling civil litigation and real estate matters.
