About Jennifer
Jennifer Lupo is the Managing Member of Lupo Law, Arbitration and Mediation PLLC, with offices strategically located in Manhattan and Staatsburg, New York. With over 30 years of experience in dispute resolution, she specializes in complex commercial, employment, and insurance matters. Ms. Lupo has mediated or arbitrated nearly 1,000 cases across a diverse range of industries. These include business divorces, shareholder disputes, contracts, construction, employment, entertainment, financial services, insurance, technology, and sports. Her experience equips her with a understanding of the intricacies involved in each sector. Ms. Lupo earned her Juris Doctor from Touro Law Center in 1995.
She also holds a Master of Arts from SUNY Stony Brook and a Bachelor of Arts from Bard College. Admitted to practice in both New York and Connecticut, she has established herself as a prominent figure in the legal community. As a neutral, she serves on several esteemed panels, including those for the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Additionally, she is a member of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, New York County, Commercial Division, and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). In academia, Ms. Lupo contributes as an adjunct professor at Marist College, where she teaches Business Law and Legal Foundations for Business in the Management School. Active in various professional organizations, Ms. Lupo is a member of Arbitral Women and participates in the ABA Dispute Resolution Section's Mediation, Arbitration, and Women in Dispute Resolution committees. She also serves on the Executive Committee of the NYSBA Dispute Resolution Section, where she chairs the Section Liaison Committee. Her involvement in these organizations shows her commitment to promoting diversity and excellence in the field of dispute resolution. Beyond her professional endeavors, Ms. Lupo dedicates time to volunteer work.
She participates in Monday Night Law, a modest means law clinic of the New York City Bar. Additionally, she is involved with BardWorks, a mentorship program for aspiring law students at Bard College.
