About Jennifer
Jennifer Kelley practices law in Michigan. She earned her J.D. from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in 2017 after completing a Bachelor of Science at Bowling Green State University in 2014. Those years shaped a methodical approach to legal work. Law school brought classroom rigour and practical training, and her undergraduate studies helped sharpen analytical habits that she still uses today.
Kelley began her professional path shortly after graduation. She joined McManus & Amadeo PLLC where she serves as a lawyer. At the firm she took on a range of matters that required careful document review, client interviews and courtroom preparation. Early casework gave her steady exposure to procedural tasks and client counseling. Over time she assumed greater responsibility for managing files and guiding clients through each stage of their matters.
Her admission to practice in Michigan has allowed Kelley to address state-specific issues and procedures. She is a member of the Michigan State Bar Association, a membership she has held since 2019. That association offers access to continuing legal education and peer resources, which she uses to stay current on changes in state law and courtroom practice. Colleagues describe her as methodical and attentive to detail. Clients have relied on her clarity when they need straightforward explanations of complex legal points.
Kelley’s day-to-day work combines office preparation and courtroom-ready documents. She spends time drafting pleadings and settlement materials. She also prepares clients for hearings and trials when matters proceed that far. Her practice requires balancing document work with personal interaction. She aims to keep clients informed and to present options in clear terms they can act on.
Outside of urgent court deadlines, Kelley dedicates time to continuing education and practical skill-building. She maintains a working knowledge of recent Michigan rulings and procedural updates. At McManus & Amadeo PLLC she contributes to a team that handles a diverse docket. Her current practice focuses on serving clients in Michigan through case management, legal counseling and representation at hearings and trials.
