About Jennifer
Jennifer Benton built her path to law across Central Florida classrooms. She earned a B.A. from the University of Central Florida in 2010. Three years later she completed her J.D. at Florida A&M University College of Law. The arc from undergraduate studies to law school was steady and purposeful.
After law school she began practicing in Florida. She joined Adams & Luka, P.A. in 2013 and has been associated with the firm since. Early on she took on casework that required courtroom presence and client counseling. Over time her role at the firm has involved handling a range of matters for clients across the state.
Her bar membership dates back to 2013 when she became a member of The Florida Bar. She also holds memberships in the American Bar Association and the Orange County Bar Association. Those ties have kept her connected to developments in state and national practice. They have also offered a forum for continuing legal education and professional networking.
Outside the day-to-day of client files, she serves in an elected role in a national organization. She is the treasurer of the American Association for Justice. That position puts her in charge of oversight for financial reporting and budget matters for the group. The post reflects a turn toward bar leadership alongside her law practice.
Colleagues describe her as methodical in preparing for hearings and attentive to the administrative side of running a law practice. She balances file work with association responsibilities and firm obligations. The combination keeps her involved in both advocacy and the organizational aspects of the profession.
She maintains an active license to practice in Florida and continues to practice through Adams & Luka, P.A. Her current practice focuses on representing clients at Adams & Luka, P.A.
