About Jeffrey William
Jeffrey William Narmore earned a B.S. in journalism from the University of Indianapolis in 1995 and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 2000. He moved from a journalism undergraduate degree into the practice of law over the course of the 1990s. The shift from reporting to courtroom procedure gave him a mix of analytical and written skills that guided his early legal steps.
After law school, Narmore began a series of clerkships that placed him close to bankruptcy practice. He served as a law clerk to the Honorable Adlai S. Hardin, Jr. in the Southern District of New York in 2000. That role was followed by an adjunct teaching position at Lehman College of the City University of New York in 2001. In 2002 he worked as an associate at Kramer, Levin, Naftalis & Frankel LLP. He later clerked for the Honorable Cecelia G. Morris of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York in 2003. By 2009 he had taken a staff lawyer post with the Office of the Chapter 13 Trustee in Savannah, Georgia.
Narmore is admitted to practice in New York and Georgia. He joined the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Lawyers in 2019 and remains a member. The sequence of clerkships, private firm experience and work inside a Chapter 13 trustee’s office exposed him to multiple sides of the bankruptcy process. He has handled case administration and courtroom responsibilities, and he has navigated procedural and statutory issues that arise in consumer bankruptcy matters. His background includes both federal bankruptcy court experience and roles that required interaction with trustees, debtors, creditors and court personnel.
Today he is the managing member of Narmore Law Office LLC. His practice reflects his years in bankruptcy courts and in trustee administration. He continues to work on matters that arise in consumer bankruptcy, including Chapter 13 cases and related proceedings. He currently manages Narmore Law Office LLC, where he handles consumer bankruptcy and related matters.
