About Jeffrey
Jeffrey Shepro began his professional path in the classroom and finished it in the courtroom. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Philosophy from Charleston Southern University in 1997 and later took up legal studies at New York Law School, receiving his J.D. in 2006. Those academic years framed a move from broad liberal arts inquiry to the technical work of law.
After law school he joined Shepro & Blake, LLC as an associate in 2006. The position offered an early immersion in law practice and client work. Two years later he opened his own practice, founding The Law Offices of Jeffrey Shepro, P.C. in 2008. The firm carries his name and has been the primary vehicle for his legal work since then.
Shepro is licensed to practice in multiple jurisdictions. He holds admission in Connecticut, Colorado and New York, and he is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut. That range of admissions has shaped the matters he accepts and the courts where he appears. It also requires keeping up-to-date on distinct procedural rules and local practices across several states.
His professional affiliations include membership in the Colorado Bar Association beginning in 2016 and continuing to the present. The association work complements his role as a solo firm owner by providing professional resources and a statewide network. Managing a small firm has also meant overseeing the administrative side of practice, from client intake and case management to court filings and compliance.
Colleagues and clients encounter a lawyer who has moved steadily from association work to independent practice. He manages The Law Offices of Jeffrey Shepro, P.C. and maintains an active practice focused on matters arising in Connecticut, New York and Colorado and in the U.S. District Court for Connecticut.
