Jeffrey Scott Bolender is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in California, Hawaii, Nevada, and the District of Columbia. Mr. Bolender earned his Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern University School of Law in 1994. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate studies at California State University, Northridge, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Speech in 1986. During his time at Southwestern, he developed a strong foundation in legal principles, which he has applied throughout his career.
Mr. Bolender's practice areas include insurance coverage disputes, trademark rights, trust administration, insurance broker malpractice, unfair competition, commercial leases, and products liability. He represents clients at all stages of litigation, from initial case evaluation and discovery to mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts. Throughout his career, Mr. Bolender has litigated numerous complex civil lawsuits in various jurisdictions, including Hawaii, California, Washington, Delaware, Florida, South Carolina, and Wyoming. He has appeared before the California Court of Appeal and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Prior to founding his own firm, he served as an insurance litigation associate at Selman Breitman and Ropers Majeski Kohn & Bentley, and as a litigation partner at Monroe & Shapiro.
Mr. Bolender is an active member of several professional associations, including the South Bay Bar Association, the Nevada State Bar Association's Construction Law and Insurance and Health Law Sections, the Benjamin Aranda III American Inns of Court, the Hawaii State Bar Association's Insurance Coverage Litigation Section, the Defense Research Institute, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Clark County Bar Association. He is also a California-approved provider of mandatory continuing legal education and has authored numerous legal articles on insurance law. Additionally, he has served as the liaison to the Chairman of the Civil Section of the South Bay Bar Association and as Treasurer of the Pacifica Verde Homeowners Association.
