About Jeffrey Philip
Jeffrey Philip Miller earned his Juris Doctor from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in 2011. His path to law included early involvement in legal organizations and practical experiences that shaped his understanding of the courtroom and community legal work.
While in law school he became a lifetime member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity in 2007, a connection he has maintained. That affiliation ran alongside internships that gave him front-line exposure to public interest and judicial work.
In 2009 he served as a legal intern with the Nassau/Suffolk Law Services Committee, Inc., where he worked on matters affecting low-income clients. The following year he was a judicial intern for The Honorable C. Stephen Hackeling, an experience that placed him inside the courtroom and the judge’s chamber, observing procedures and the judicial decision-making process.
After completing his degree, Miller moved into private practice. He joined Andrew Rosner & Associates as an associate lawyer in 2012. Two years later he took an associate position at Siler & Ingber, LLP. Those roles provided steady, hands-on experience in the daily responsibilities of an associate attorney, including client interaction, case preparation, and courtroom appearances where appropriate.
Miller is licensed to practice in both New Jersey and New York. His dual admission allows him to work on matters that cross state lines and to appear in the courts of both jurisdictions. He maintains professional contacts in both states and has continued to develop his practice within those regulatory frameworks.
Colleagues describe Miller as methodical and thorough in his case preparation, preferring careful analysis over headline-grabbing statements. He draws on his internships and early associate work when advising clients and setting expectations about process and timing. He has kept active in legal circles that first engaged him during his law school years.
Today he is part of the team at Siler & Ingber, LLP, where he resumed an associate role after joining the firm in 2014. His current practice is concentrated on representing clients in matters in New Jersey and New York.
