About Jeffrey

Jeffrey Loew began his academic path in the Midwest and finished his legal training in California. He earned a B.A. from the University of Saint Thomas in 1995 and an M.A. from The Ohio State University in Columbus in 1998. He received his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law in 2001.

After law school he joined the Securities Litigation Group at Cooley LLP. That role marked his entry into private practice and into matters tied to corporate and securities disputes. By 2005 he had moved to Carr McClellan Ingersoll Thompson & Horn, where he continued to build courtroom and litigation experience.

In 2011 he co-founded Burns Loew, taking on responsibilities that combined casework, client counseling and firm management. Five years later he established Loew Law Group and became its founder and shareholder. Those moves shifted his career from associate roles at established firms to leading his own practices.

Loew holds a certification from the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization as a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law. The certification signals a formal recognition of his work in those areas and reflects a sustained engagement with matters of wills, trusts, conservatorships and probate proceedings. His earlier work on securities litigation informs how he handles complex factual and financial questions in estate matters.

Colleagues describe Loew as methodical in how he approaches file preparation and court work. He balances the detailed paperwork that estate and probate matters demand with the practical needs of clients who are often handling sensitive family issues. He has navigated both contested and uncontested matters, and he has overseen document drafting, settlement discussions and court hearings.

Outside of casework, Loew has taken on the administrative duties that come with founding and running a firm. Those responsibilities include supervising attorneys, developing office practices and advising on firm strategy. His career reflects a shift from large-firm litigation to small-firm leadership and client-facing counseling.

He is licensed to practice in California and holds his specialist certification in estate planning, trust and probate law from the California Board of Legal Specialization. He currently practices at Loew Law Group, concentrating on estate planning, trust and probate matters.
