About Jeffrey L.
Jeffrey L. Hohl earned his undergraduate degree in business marketing from the University of Arizona, completing a B.S. in 2004. He went on to study law at South Texas College of Law and received his J.D. in 2010. Those academic years set the foundation for a practice based in Texas.
After law school Hohl began building a practice that centers on criminal defense and trial work. He is licensed to practice in Texas and has maintained ties to the local legal community for more than a decade. He joined the Montgomery County Bar Association in 2011 and later became active in several organizations specific to criminal defense and trial advocacy.
Since 2018 Hohl has held memberships in the Montgomery County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and the National Trial Lawyers Association. Those affiliations reflect his regular involvement with fellow practitioners who handle contested matters in state courts. He appears in pretrial hearings and jury trials, and he represents clients charged with offenses that range from misdemeanors to serious felonies.
Hohl’s courtroom work is pragmatic. He prepares for contested hearings and jury trials, handles evidence and witness examination, and engages in plea negotiations where appropriate. He practices from Hohl Law Office, PLLC, where he handles matters arising in Montgomery County and neighboring jurisdictions. The office handles intake, investigation and litigation work, and Hohl coordinates those elements for each case he takes on. He maintains memberships in professional groups that keep him connected to courtroom practice and to local bar activities.
He continues to represent clients in Texas courts and concentrates his practice on criminal defense through Hohl Law Office, PLLC.
