About Jeffrey D.
Jeffrey D. Ragone built a legal path that starts in the classroom and moves quickly into courtrooms and chambers. He earned his B.B.A. from Temple University before completing a J.D. at Rutgers University–Camden. The combination of a business undergraduate degree and a law degree informs the practical approach he brings to his work.
After law school Ragone served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Faustino J. Fernandez-Vina of the Supreme Court of New Jersey. The clerkship placed him at the center of appellate decision-making. He handled research and drafted memoranda that supported opinions on complex legal questions. That experience provided a close look at judicial reasoning and at the mechanics of opinion writing.
In 2020 Ragone joined McOmber McOmber & Luber as an associate. He moved from the courthouse into firm practice, taking on responsibilities that include case development, legal research, and client communication. He has worked on pleadings, motions, and the factual development that precedes trial or settlement discussions. Colleagues describe him as methodical in his preparation and attentive to procedural detail.
Ragone is admitted to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He maintains membership in the State Bar of Pennsylvania. Those admissions allow him to appear in state courts across two jurisdictions and to handle matters that cross state lines.
His career so far mixes appellate exposure from the clerkship with hands-on litigation work at the firm. That blend of experiences gives him a practical perspective on how courtroom strategy and written advocacy interact. He draws on appellate-style analysis when preparing trial pleadings and on trial-level practicalities when researching legal issues for appellate review.
Today Ragone practices at McOmber McOmber & Luber, P.C. He works on case preparation, motion practice, and client representation in matters handled by the firm. His current practice concentrates on litigation and related legal work handled by the firm.
