About Jeffrey Campbell
Jeffrey Campbell Venzie earned a B.A. from Syracuse University in 1993. He went on to receive a J.D. from Widener University Delaware School of Law in 1996. He later completed an LL.M. in Taxation at Villanova University School of Law in 2001. Those three degrees form the academic spine of his legal career.
He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania. Over time he directed his work toward matters that touch both construction and tax law. The additional tax training he pursued after his J.D. informs how he approaches contractual allocations, cost disputes, and regulatory questions that arise on construction projects.
Venzie established Venzie Construction Law, LLC to provide a compact practice devoted to construction-related legal work. At the firm he handles a mix of transactional and dispute-side assignments. That includes drafting and negotiating construction contracts, advising on mechanics’ liens and bond claims, and counseling on tax issues that intersect with project financing and business structuring. He represents contractors, owners, and other project participants in matters that range from routine contract administration to contested claims.
Since 2017 he has been involved with the Chester County Bar Association’s Access to Justice program. His participation there reflects a steady thread of public service in his professional life. He also maintains other professional memberships and local bar contacts that keep him connected to developments in construction, business, and tax law in Pennsylvania.
Colleagues describe him as steady and practical in the way he handles problem-solving at the negotiating table and in litigation settings. He tends to break complex commercial and tax issues into discrete choices clients can understand. That method is evident in the work his firm takes on: matters that require both construction industry knowledge and attention to tax consequences.
Venzie’s practice remains anchored in Pennsylvania law and the construction sector. He continues to operate Venzie Construction Law, LLC and represents clients on construction law matters and related tax issues in the state.
