About Jeffery Shane
Jeffery Shane Roberts built his legal path step by step. He began at Volunteer State Community College, earning an A.S. in 1987. He moved on to Middle Tennessee State University and completed a B.S. in Pre-Law in 1989. He returned to Tennessee for law school and received his J.D. from Nashville School of Law in 1999. Years later he undertook specialized trial training at the Trial Lawyers College in 2013.
The sequence of degrees reflects a practical approach to legal education. Community college, a bachelor’s degree, then law school. The Trial Lawyers College came after years of practice and suggested a desire to sharpen courtroom skills. That training is aimed at hands-on trial work and jury advocacy, and he added it to the broader foundation from Nashville School of Law.
Roberts works in Tennessee. Public records list him as a current member of the Tennessee State Bar. In 2016 he took on the role of managing lawyer at Jeff Roberts & Associates, PLLC. As managing lawyer he handles administrative duties for the firm and continues to take on cases. His position requires balancing client work, staffing, and the day-to-day decisions that keep a small firm operating.
