About Jeffery

Jeffery Dailey built a steady, traditional legal career that began after law school and has moved through large-firm ranks into a smaller practice of his own. He earned his J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law in 2000 after completing a bachelor’s degree at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in 1997. He joined Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP the same year he graduated from law school.

At Akin Gump he joined as an associate in 2000 and remained for nearly a decade before a series of promotions. He was elevated to counsel in 2005 and became a partner in 2009. Those years at a national firm gave him exposure to matters that progressed through trial courts and into appellate proceedings. In 2019 he took on a partner role at Dailey LLP, shifting his practice into a smaller firm setting while maintaining ties to appellate work.

Dailey is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New York, and he is admitted to the Second and Third U.S. Courts of Appeals. That range of admissions reflects many years handling federal litigation and appeals. Colleagues describe his courtroom work as steady and prepared; clients have turned to him for cases that require appellate briefing and oral argument in regional and federal venues.

His dossier is largely that of an appellate and litigation lawyer who spent formative years at a major national firm before moving into a partnership at his current firm. The record shows a progression from associate to counsel to partner over the first decade of his career, followed by a move to Dailey LLP in 2019 where he continues as a partner. He brings experience in federal practice and appellate procedure to the cases he accepts.

Outside of casework, Dailey’s professional life has centered on maintaining admissions across state and federal jurisdictions, and on the practices typical of lawyers who handle appeals. He has worked on matters that required detailed briefing and oral advocacy before the circuit courts listed among his admissions.

He is a partner at Dailey LLP, where he concentrates on litigation and appellate matters in his current practice.
