About Jeff
Jeff Yashinsky built his legal foundation in Michigan. He earned a B.A. in Criminal Justice from Eastern Michigan University in 1991 and a J.D. from Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University in 1995. Those years set the stage for a career that moved between defense work and representing injured people.
He began working in insurance defense in 2001 at Progressive Insurance Company. That role placed him inside the insurer’s processes. He handled claims and learned how insurers evaluate liability and damages. Those early years shaped his understanding of the defense perspective.
In 2010 he joined Hartman-Imbriale as a car accident and slip-and-fall attorney. There he spent time on claims arising from motor vehicle collisions and premises incidents. The work included investigating accidents, managing medical records and dealing directly with opposing counsel. It was a clear shift toward advocating for individuals harmed in common but complex daily incidents.
Since 2017 he has practiced under The Yashinsky Law Group. The firm is structured as The Yashinsky Law Group, LLC. His title is personal injury lawyer and his caseload reflects that designation. He brings experience from both sides of personal injury disputes and applies it to negotiating settlements, filing suit when needed, and preparing claims for trial.
Yashinsky is licensed to practice in Michigan and Georgia. He holds membership in the Michigan State Bar and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. Those affiliations connect him to continuing legal education and to peers who focus on trial work and civil litigation.
