About Jeff G.
Jeff G. Rousseau earned his B.A. from the University of Kentucky in 2007 and completed his J.D. at Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University in 2010. He moved through law school during a period of steady change in state courts. The academic record situates him squarely in Kentucky’s legal community and set the stage for a practice that has remained rooted in the state.
After graduating from law school he entered private practice and built experience in state matters. In 2015 he opened his own firm, Jeffery G. Rousseau, P.S.C., Lawyer at Law, where he serves as owner and lawyer. Running a small firm has required balancing casework, client counseling and the administrative duties that come with ownership. Those responsibilities shaped the practical side of his legal career and established him as a persistent presence in local courtrooms.
Rousseau has maintained active ties to the organized bar. He holds membership in the Kentucky Bar Association and has been involved in the 56th Judicial Circuit Bar Association since 2011. He served as vice president of that circuit bar, a volunteer leadership role that involved helping coordinate meetings and supporting the association’s activities among local practitioners. The circuit role connected him to fellow attorneys and judges across his circuit and informed how he approaches professional service.
In practice he represents clients in matters heard in Kentucky courts and handles the day-to-day legal work that clients expect from a local firm. His work includes client intake, drafting and filing pleadings, appearing in court, and advising clients on legal options. He combines courtroom experience and office practice to address the procedural and substantive tasks that arise in state litigation and other legal matters. Colleagues describe him as a steady presence who manages a solo firm through the practical demands of law practice.
Rousseau’s career path reflects a familiar arc: classroom training at two Kentucky institutions, early years gaining experience, and then founding a firm to concentrate his work locally. He continues to practice law in Kentucky and to manage Jeffery G. Rousseau, P.S.C., Lawyer at Law, handling client matters across the state as of 2026.
