About Jedidiah Irving
Jedidiah Irving Bressman took a steady, conventional route into law. He completed a Bachelor of Arts in Communication at the Indiana Institute of Technology in 2014 and earned his J.D. from Ohio State University in 2017. Those years set the stage for a career spent inside courtrooms and legal offices across Ohio.
Fresh from law school, he entered public service. In 2017 he worked as an Assistant Lawyer General at the Ohio Lawyer General's Office. That role placed him inside the state's legal apparatus at a formative point in his career, handling tasks that often fall to early-career attorneys on government benches.
Two years later he moved to the appellate side. In 2019 he served as a judicial staff lawyer for the 10th District Court of Appeals. The position exposed him to appellate procedure and opinion drafting. It also offered an up-close view of how trial records are reviewed and how legal issues are framed at the appellate level.
Bressman shifted into private practice in 2020. He appears under the name Bressman Law as a lawyer. Running a small practice meant switching gears. Where government work and appellate staff work emphasize internal process and precedent, private practice requires day-to-day client contact, case management and court appearances. His resume reflects that transition.
He maintains active memberships in the State Bar of Ohio since 2017 and in the Ohio Association for Justice since 2018. Those affiliations keep him plugged into continuing legal education and the professional networks that matter to litigators practicing in state courts. He is licensed to practice in Ohio.
Colleagues and court records indicate a practitioner comfortable in written and oral advocacy. His background at the Attorney General's office and at an appellate court suggests familiarity with both trial-level litigation and the mechanics of appeals. He has handled matters that required briefing, motions practice and courtroom appearances.
He currently practices at Bressman Law, representing clients in matters brought in Ohio state courts.
