About Jay Lewis
Jay Lewis Farrow is a former attorney based in Davie, Florida — He graduated cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law in 2002. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2003 and the New York State Bar in 2005. He also held admissions to various federal courts, including the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Florida, the Middle District of Florida. The U.S.
Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. In 2008, he founded Farrow Law Firm, which specialized in pre-suit solutions and litigation for private business disputes. The firm was headquartered in Davie, Florida, and served clients across Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, and West Palm Beach. Throughout his career, Mr. Farrow represented clients, including Fortune 500 general contractors in private and municipal litigation, debtors, creditors, and trustees in Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy cases, as well as franchisees in over twenty franchise systems.
His practice also encompassed construction companies in contract and labor-related matters and defending corporations in proceedings involving Florida’s Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act. In August 2025, the Florida Supreme Court suspended Mr. Farrow's license to practice law in Florida due to allegations of professional misconduct, including abandoning clients, taking excessive fees without offering legal services, engaging in bad faith litigation tactics.
