About Javier

Javier Enriquez built his academic foundation at the University of Miami. He completed a B.A. in Political Science and Criminology, followed by an M.A. in Public Administration. He stayed at the same university for law school and earned his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law.

After law school Enriquez entered private practice and gained admission to several courts. He is licensed to practice in Florida and is admitted to appear before the Federal Circuit and the 11th Circuit. Those admissions allow him to handle matters at both the trial and appellate levels in state and federal forums.

Enriquez holds certification as a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator. He serves as a neutral third party in family disputes, guiding parties through negotiated resolutions. His mediator role involves managing sessions, clarifying legal options for non-lawyer participants, and helping parties reach settlement terms outside of court.

Outside of the courtroom and mediation sessions, Enriquez maintains memberships in several professional organizations. He is a member of the Cuban American Bar Association, The Federalist Society, and the Dade County Bar Association. He participates in bar events and local legal programming, and he keeps current on developments that affect clients in both family and federal practice areas.

Enriquez practices at Jeffrey & Enriquez, LLC. At the firm he engages in representation that spans family-related matters and federal litigation. He appears in state courts for family matters and represents clients in federal proceedings, including appellate matters in the 11th Circuit and filings in the Federal Circuit when appropriate.

Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparing cases and pragmatic in settlement discussions. He balances advocacy in court with efforts to resolve disputes through mediation when the parties and circumstances make that a viable option. He currently practices at Jeffrey & Enriquez, LLC, where he handles family mediation and state and federal litigation, including appellate work.
