About Jason
Jason Ruben trained in Maryland and stayed to build his legal practice. He earned a J.D. from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law after completing a B.S. at Towson University. Those years shaped his approach to lawyering: careful research, plainspoken advice and attention to procedural detail.
He began applying classroom lessons to real cases soon after law school. Over time he has handled filings, client interviews, document drafting and courtroom appearances. He developed familiarity with the routines of litigation and the practical demands of client counsel. Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparing a file and deliberate when standing for a client.
His work has involved both negotiation and contested proceedings. He often moves between office work and court calendar days. That variety means he balances written advocacy with in-person representation. He also takes time to explain options and likely outcomes to people he represents, translating legal concepts into straightforward terms.
Ruben joined The Law Offices of Ruben and Ruben, where he works alongside other attorneys in the firm. The office handles an array of matters and Ruben contributes by managing case workflow, preparing briefs and appearing in hearings. He is active in the day-to-day practice of law and in serving clients who seek practical guidance through disputes.
Outside of casework he maintains ties to the Maryland legal community and continues professional development. He keeps current on changes in procedure and practice so his courtroom preparation matches prevailing standards. He also mentors junior staff and assists in the training that supports the firm’s operations.
He practices law in Maryland and continues to accept cases through The Law Offices of Ruben and Ruben. His current practice centers on client representation and dispute resolution at state and local levels.
