About Jason L.

Jason L. Wollitz graduated from the University of North Florida with a B.A. in 1995 and earned his J.D. from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 1999. He combined studies in economics and literature as an undergraduate, then shifted to the study of law. The two degrees inform a practical approach to legal problems and the way he thinks about complex factual records.

Early in his career he entered private practice in Alabama. He built a practice handling matters that required appearances in state trial courts and in federal forums. Over time he added appellate work and became admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. That dual admission has shaped the mix of cases he accepts and the way he prepares for litigation and appeals.

His work has involved both trial-level matters and appeals. He handles case strategy, drafting of briefs, and court appearances. Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparing records for appeal and concise in written advocacy. Clients have relied on him to explain procedural options and to map out likely timelines for both state and federal proceedings.

He now operates under the name Jason L. Wollitz and continues to practice in Alabama. His office takes cases that require representation in state courts and in federal appeals. He handles matters in state and federal courts, including appeals before the Eleventh Circuit.
