About Jason L.
Jason L. Palmer combines a business background and legal training in a career that moves between courtrooms, classrooms and corporate offices. He earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Logistics and Transportation from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2001. He later completed his J.D. at Cal Northern School of Law, finishing in 2009.
Palmer began his professional life in operations and logistics. Early roles included an operations and freight flow manager position at Walmart and a supervisory post at Starbucks. He then worked in sales and distribution, serving as a national sales consultant for FDSI Logistics and later managing corporate accounts for non-acute markets at Cardinal Health in 2015. Those positions exposed him to contract work, regulatory compliance and large-scale operational systems.
He entered legal practice after law school and took roles that blended litigation, client counseling and education. In 2010 he worked as an attorney at Molsby & Bordner, LLP. Around the same time he also taught at Cal Northern School of Law, serving as a professor in 2009 and offering private tutoring for candidates preparing for the California Bar Exam. Those teaching assignments reflect an interest in legal education as well as practical preparation for bar admission.
Palmer maintains practice rights in California and before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California. He has moved between in-house and firm settings, applying operational experience to legal matters where business processes and regulatory questions overlap. In 2020 he took on an executive role at MOBO Law, LLP, serving as Chief Operating Officer while continuing to practice law. The position drew on his earlier corporate management experience and his legal training.
His career path shows a steady blending of business and law. He has worked at national companies, in private practice and in legal education. That variety informs the way he evaluates matters and advises clients. He currently practices through MOBO Law, LLP and handles matters in California state courts and in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California.
His current practice focuses on matters handled in California state and federal courts.
