About Jason David

Jason David Schiffer earned his law degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2008. He completed a traditional legal education in Philadelphia, where he studied evidence, civil procedure and appellate practice. The degree marked the start of a practice that spans state and federal courtrooms in the Mid-Atlantic.

Soon after law school, Schiffer secured admission to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and he later gained admission to the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Those credentials allow him to appear in both trial courts and at the federal appellate level across a multi-state region.

His early years in practice involved routine courtroom work and filings typical of young litigators. He developed practical skills in drafting pleadings, arguing motions and preparing appeals. Colleagues describe him as methodical in case preparation and attentive to procedural detail. He has handled matters that required coordination across state lines, which in turn required familiarity with differing procedural rules and local practices.

Schiffer’s docket has included contested hearings and appellate briefs filed in the Third Circuit. He navigates administrative deadlines and brief-writing tasks with a steady approach. His courtroom manner is straightforward; he aims to present legal arguments cleanly and to give judges the framework to decide efficiently. That temperament has informed how he prepares clients for hearings and what he emphasizes in oral argument.

Outside the courtroom, Schiffer has maintained ties to his law school network and to bar groups in the jurisdictions where he practices. He has taken part in professional programs and continuing legal education relevant to litigation and appellate procedure. Those activities have kept him current on evolving case law and on procedural developments that affect cross-jurisdictional practice.

Schiffer now concentrates his practice on matters arising in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and on appellate work before the Third Circuit. He represents clients in state and federal proceedings and continues to litigate and pursue appeals across the region.
