About Jason C.
Jason C. Hill earned a B.S. from the University of Florida in 1994 and a J.D. from Florida State University College of Law in 2001. He entered the bar the same year and has practiced in Florida since. His academic background provided a straightforward path into the legal profession and into private practice in Jacksonville.
He began his career as an associate at Arnstein & Lehr in 2001. That role gave him exposure to firm-side practice and the operations of a multi-practice law firm. In 2007 he joined Akerman Senterfitt as a real estate associate, where he handled matters typical of real estate practice and worked on transactional files.
In 2010 Hill took on two notable roles. He became a partner at the Law Offices of Curtis & Hill, P.A., stepping into firm leadership and client-facing responsibilities. In the same year he also served as of counsel at Stoneburner Berry Glocker Purcell & Greenhut, P.A. Those positions reflected a mix of firm management, client advising and legal work across civil and property-related matters.
Outside the office Hill has maintained steady involvement in local and state legal organizations. He has been a member of The Florida Bar since 2001. He joined the Jacksonville Bar Association in 2009 and remains active there. Since 2008 he has served as a judge for Duval County Teen Criminal Court, a role that places him on the bench for a specialized juvenile docket. He has also been engaged in community philanthropy through Wolfson Children’s Hospital, serving on the Red Wagon Parade Steering Committee and acting as co-chair in 2009 and chairman in 2010.
Colleagues describe Hill as an experienced practitioner who applies a practical approach to legal problems. His experience spans transactional work and advising clients in real estate matters, supported by courtroom experience in local courts. He combines firm-side practice with public service on juvenile matters and community fundraising efforts. He currently works in Florida through the Law Offices of Curtis & Hill, P.A., concentrating on real estate and civil matters.
