About Jason Allan

Jason Allan Jenkins grew up interested in history and public affairs. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in history and political science from Florida Atlantic University in 2009. He went on to study law at St. Thomas University School of Law and received his J.D. in 2012. Those years shaped a practical approach to the law. He combined classroom study with work in local legal offices to learn how cases move from theory to courtroom work.

Early in his legal career Jenkins worked as a law clerk in 2010 at the Law Office of Michael C. Compo, P.A. The clerking experience exposed him to case preparation, client interviews and the day-to-day operations of a small practice. It was a hands-on introduction to litigation and client service. The role also provided a foundation for the administrative and managerial responsibilities he would assume later.

By 2014 Jenkins had established his own firm and took the title of president at the Law Offices of Jason A. Jenkins, P.A. Running his own office required shifting between casework and practice management. He oversaw case strategy, oversaw client intake and handled the business aspects of maintaining a law firm. Those responsibilities sit alongside his work in the courtroom and in settlement negotiations.

He is admitted to practice in Florida and before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Admission to those jurisdictions has allowed him to represent clients in both state and federal matters. Over time he has handled a range of procedural tasks that come with litigation in those courts, from filing pleadings to attending hearings.

Clients and colleagues describe Jenkins as deliberate in his preparation. He tends to favor careful fact-gathering and methodical document work. In hearings he is procedural and focused on the record. Outside court he manages the office and supervises support staff and outside counsel when cases require it.

His career path—from undergraduate study to law school, then clerkship and to running his own firm—reflects steady progression through the practical steps of a legal career. He continues to lead the Law Offices of Jason A. Jenkins, P.A., representing clients in matters brought in Florida courts and in the Southern District of Florida.

He currently concentrates his practice on litigated matters in Florida and in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
