About Jarod Brannon
Jarod Brannon Rose came to law from a dual background in history and political science. He earned a B.A. in both fields from Bowling Green State University in 2013, then completed his J.D. at The Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law in 2016. He entered the profession shortly after, bringing a classroom interest in government and public institutions into practical work.
While still in law school and in the years immediately after, Rose worked in a series of public-sector internships. In 2017 he spent time with the City of Reynoldsburg and with the Licking County Prosecutor's Office. In 2018 he served as an intern in the Ohio Attorney General's office. Those positions placed him in municipal offices and courtroom settings, where he handled research, observed hearings and assisted on case preparation.
After gaining that early public-law exposure, Rose joined private practice. He became an associate lawyer at Schaller, Campbell & Untied in 2019. In that role he has carried client matters through various stages of litigation and has assisted more senior attorneys on trial and appellate work. He has also been involved in drafting pleadings, conducting factual investigation and preparing legal memoranda for tribunals and local agencies.
Colleagues describe Rose as practical and focused on the mechanics of casework. He approaches files in a methodical way. He tends to break issues into discrete tasks and address them one at a time. That steady approach has been useful whether he was supporting a prosecutor’s office or managing a client matter at the firm.
Rose maintains current professional membership in a state bar association. He keeps up with continuing education and local legal programming that relate to public law and litigation practice. Outside the office he has shown interest in civic topics that echo his undergraduate studies, though he keeps a low public profile.
He joined the practice at Schaller, Campbell & Untied after several internships in public offices and has since remained in private practice. He handles litigation and advisory work for the firm’s clients and continues to apply the procedural and research skills developed early in his career.
