About Jarett de
Jarett de Paula built his legal foundation at the University of Florida and Stetson University. He earned a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Florida in 2004. He went on to complete both a Juris Doctor and an MBA at Stetson in 2007.
He began practicing in the Florida legal community shortly thereafter. In 2008 he worked at Vukelja Law, an early stop that introduced him to courtroom work and client counseling. Over the next decade he held roles at several small firms and solo shops, gaining hands-on experience across civil matters.
In 2018 he joined Rice Law Office, where he continued to refine litigation skills and client intake processes. The following year he became a partner at Vukelja & dePaula. That partnership brought him into firm management and case strategy at a higher level, balancing trial preparation with business responsibilities.
By 2021 he had moved to Aaron Delgado & Associates. There he joined a larger practice environment and took on a docket that included contested hearings and pretrial litigation. He remains licensed to practice in Florida and participates in local and national bar groups.
De Paula has been a member of the Volusia County Bar Association since 2008 and has held membership in the American Bar Association during the same period. Those affiliations have kept him connected to continuing education and local legal developments. Peers describe him as steady in the courtroom and practical with clients. Outside the office he has handled the administrative side of running a small practice. That experience informs how he manages client communication and case documentation.
