About Jamie
Jamie McInelly earned her law degree from the UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law in 2021. She entered the legal profession after a compact but steady course through one of Nevada’s law schools. The classroom years gave way quickly to hands-on work in litigation and trial practice.
Her early experience began while she was still in school. In 2019 she worked as a law clerk at Nettles Morris, where she supported case preparation and legal research. After graduation she returned to Nettles Morris as an associate in 2021, taking on more responsibility for drafting pleadings and interacting with clients. In 2022 she moved to Christian Morris Trial Lawyers and is listed as a litigation lawyer there, continuing her work in civil litigation and courtroom matters.
McInelly participates in professional organizations that connect trial attorneys across the country and in Nevada. She serves on the Board of Governors for the American Association for Justice, a role that places her among peers who work on policy and educational programs for plaintiff lawyers. She is also a member of the Nevada Justice Association, where she engages with issues affecting access to courts and procedural rules at the state level.
Colleagues describe her work as practical and case-driven. Her resume points to steady involvement in litigation tasks: researching legal issues, drafting motions, taking depositions, and assisting in trial preparation. She has experience moving through cases from early investigation to active litigation phases. That background reflects the kinds of day-to-day responsibilities that trial lawyers handle in civil matters.
McInelly’s practice is rooted in Nevada. She has worked in local firms and in trial-focused offices, gaining time in court and in conferences with opposing counsel. The professional path she has followed so far shows a lawyer accumulating courtroom experience and responsibilities in progressively more active litigation roles.
She continues to practice in Nevada, handling civil litigation and trial-related work in state courts.
