About Jamie Leigh

Jamie Leigh Allgood studied political science at Christopher Newport University and completed her Bachelor of Arts in 2009. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law in 2012. Those years shaped a practical approach to law. They also gave her the foundation she uses in practice today.

After law school, Allgood entered private practice and built experience handling a range of matters on behalf of individuals and businesses. She has practiced in Virginia courts and developed a familiarity with state rules and procedures. Over time she took on roles that required both courtroom presence and detailed transactional work.

In 2019 she joined the board of the Forward Foundation. That role broadened her engagement outside the office. Serving on the board exposed her to nonprofit governance and community-oriented projects. It also added a governance perspective she brings back to client matters and firm management.

Allgood’s work has been steady rather than flashy. Colleagues describe her as pragmatic: she prefers clear advice and practical solutions. She has handled cases that required close attention to statutory detail and has advised clients on compliance matters. Her training at Regent and early years in practice inform an analytical approach that favors careful planning and measured advocacy.

She now practices at Bowen Ten Cardani PC. At the firm she works on matters that require both careful preparation and an eye for workable results. Clients see her as someone who prepares thoroughly and values clear communication. In the office she mentors junior lawyers and contributes to file strategy and drafting.

Allgood is admitted to practice in Virginia and maintains a practice rooted in the state’s courts and administrative processes. She balances case work with service on the Forward Foundation board. She is based at Bowen Ten Cardani PC, where her current practice centers on serving clients in Virginia.
