About Jamie
Jamie Hage has spent more than four decades in the legal profession. She arrived at law school after completing a Bachelor of Arts at Hamilton College and earned her J.D. from the University of New Hampshire School of Law in 1978. Those early years set the stage for a long practice spanning both New England states.
Her professional memberships began soon after law school. Hage joined the New Hampshire Bar Association in 1978. In 1980 she became a member of the American Bar Association, the New Hampshire Association For Justice, and the American Association for Justice. Those affiliations reflect steady participation in statewide and national legal organizations over many years.
Hage’s career has moved between private practice and firm leadership. She was a partner at Nixon Peabody LLP beginning in 1998. That role placed her in a large firm environment and exposed her to complex firm operations and case management across multiple jurisdictions. A decade later she helped launch a different path.
In 2008 she became a managing director and founding shareholder of Hage Hodes Professional Association. That move marked a shift toward leading a smaller, locally rooted practice. As a founding shareholder she played a role in shaping the firm's structure and daily operations.
Throughout her career Hage has maintained ties to both Massachusetts and New Hampshire. She is licensed to practice in both states and has balanced matters in each jurisdiction. Her long-standing membership in state and national bar groups signals ongoing engagement with professional education and peer networks.
Colleagues describe Hage as steady and experienced in firm leadership and professional association work. Her path from Hamilton College to New Hampshire Law, through large-firm partnership and then to founding a practice, shows a lawyer who has navigated different professional environments. She continues to practice law at Hage Hodes Professional Association, where she concentrates on matters in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
