About James
James Wing has spent decades in Connecticut’s legal community. He earned a B.A. in economics from the University of Hartford in 1979 and a J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1982. Those academic steps set him on a path that has combined private practice and active service within local bar groups.
After law school, Wing entered the Connecticut bar and became involved in professional associations that shape practice in the state. He has been a member of the American Bar Association since 1982, and he belongs to the Connecticut Bar Association and the Hartford County Bar Association, memberships he has held since the early 1980s. He also maintains membership in the Connecticut State Bar.
Wing began his own practice in 1989. As proprietor of the Law Offices of James C. Wing, Jr., he has run a small firm that reflects a long career in private practice.
