About James
James DiMarco built his legal foundation at Pennsylvania State University, then went on to earn a J.D. from Villanova University School of Law. He paired that academic training with early hands-on public service, moving into state government shortly after law school. Those first roles gave him exposure to the mechanics of law in a political environment and to the pace of high-stakes legal work.
In 2010 DiMarco served as a legal specialist in the Office of Counsel to New Jersey Governor Chris Christie. The position placed him inside a busy legal office that handled policy questions, executive orders and government counsel work. He worked on matters that required quick legal assessment and clear written advice to nonlawyers, skills that would recur in later roles.
The following year he joined McElroy Deutsch Mulvaney & Carpenter, LLP as a lawyer. There he moved into private practice and sharpened litigation-related skills. The firm’s environment exposed him to client counseling, case development and courtroom preparation. He spent time managing files and coordinating with other attorneys on complex matters, building a practical toolkit for client representation.
By 2018 DiMarco was working at Ostroff Injury Law. His role there continued the pattern of litigation and client-facing practice. He has handled cases from the firm’s offices in Cherry Hill and in Philadelphia, representing clients through investigation, negotiation and, where necessary, trial work. He maintains active licenses in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania, enabling him to operate on both sides of the state line and to take cases that involve cross-border issues.
Colleagues describe him as methodical in case preparation and clear in courtroom presentation; clients have found his explanations accessible when technical legal problems arose. He has moved between public and private sectors over the course of his career, bringing lessons from government legal work into private practice and vice versa. That mix of experience informs how he approaches a case and how he communicates risk and options to clients.
DiMarco continues to practice at Ostroff Injury Law, operating out of the Cherry Hill and Philadelphia offices and handling matters that arise for the firm’s clients. He practices in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania and manages client matters from initial intake through resolution.
