About James Carr Suits
James Carr Suits II is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 2004. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Suits is the Chief Executive Officer of Suits Litigation, Inc., a law firm located at 181 Devine Street, San Jose, California. He has been practicing law for over 22 years, serving clients throughout the San Jose area and surrounding regions.
Mr. Suits earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law in 2003. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Santa Barbara, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry in 1997. During his time at USC Gould, he was a member of the Hale Moot Court Honors Program and achieved high honors grades in Trial Advocacy, Evidence, and Remedies, among other courses.
Mr. Suits concentrates his practice in the area of personal injury law. He represents individuals who have sustained injuries due to accidents and intentional acts. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts. His prior litigation experience includes working as an Associate Attorney for Robinson & Wood, Inc. and Tharpe & Howell, LLP, as well as a Law Clerk for the Civil Liability Division of the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office.
Throughout his career, Mr. Suits has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Santa Clara and the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. He has also appeared before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate attorney at Robinson & Wood, Inc. and Tharpe & Howell, LLP, gaining experience in personal injury defense and litigation.
Mr. Suits is an active member of the American Bar Association and the California Lawyers for Criminal Justice. He is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of San Jose effectively.
