About James A.
James A. Myers trained first as a mathematician and later as a lawyer. He earned a B.A. in Mathematics from Simpson College in 1999, then returned to school and received his J.D. from the University of Florida in 2013. Those two degrees sit at the center of a career that bridges numbers and rules.
Before he entered law school, Myers spent a decade in business and insurance roles. He began as a marketing analyst at Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield in 1999. That was followed by positions as an account manager for NCMIC Group, Inc., a registered representative with Financial Decisions Group in 2002, and a claims supervisor at Amica Mutual Insurance Company in 2003. Myers completed his law degree in 2013 and that same year joined Bowen|Schroth, P.A. as a partner. He has remained at the firm since then.
