About Jaime Rich
Jaime Rich Vining built the foundation for his legal career in classrooms and newsrooms. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from the University of Central Florida in 2003, after beginning his undergraduate studies in 1999. He then went on to the University of Miami School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 2006.
After law school, Vining returned to Florida law practice. He is licensed to practice in Florida and holds an Intellectual Property certification from the Florida Bar. Over the years he has concentrated his practice on matters that touch creators, businesses and brands. He handles trademark clearance and registration, copyright counseling, licensing agreements and related transactional work. He also advises on enforcement and dispute resolution when clients seek to protect creative assets.
Clients span a range of sectors. Some come from entertainment and media, others from consumer products and start-up ventures. His advertising background gives him a practical sense of how brands are built and marketed. He translates that into advice that weighs legal risk against business objectives. He does transactional work and prepares filings, and he also counsels clients on how to document and preserve rights in their work.
Vining maintains professional affiliations in Florida and stays current on developments in IP law. He has pursued continuing legal education in areas such as trademark practice and copyright issues, and he holds the specific Intellectual Property certification offered by the state bar. Those credentials are part of how he supports clients who face questions about ownership, licensing and commercial use of creative material.
Colleagues describe him as practical in the conference room and meticulous on the drafting table. He aims to make technical subjects accessible to clients who may be unfamiliar with the legal landscape. He prepares contracts, negotiates terms and helps devise strategies to avoid or resolve conflicts. When disputes arise, he assesses whether negotiation, administrative proceedings or litigation best serves a client’s objectives.
Vining practices in Florida and concentrates on intellectual property matters, helping individuals and businesses protect and manage trademarks, copyrights and related rights.
