Jacquelyn S Lutz built a path to law that began in the classroom and moved quickly into public service. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Hamline University School of Law in 2010, where she studied political science on the public service track and legal studies. She later completed a J.D. at the University of Minnesota — Twin Cities.
Her early work placed her in settings that serve low-income and vulnerable people. At Legal Services of Dakota County she worked on cases that required careful factual development and an understanding of how court procedures affect everyday life. She has also taken part in professional oversight as a member of the 19th District Ethics Committee, a role that involved reviewing conduct issues and advising on ethical questions.
