Jacob Robert Lilly is a seasoned criminal defense attorney based in Lakewood, Colorado. After graduating from law school, Mr. Lilly served from 2004 to 2007 as Trial Counsel and Special Assistant U.S. Attorney in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's Corps. In this capacity, he prosecuted a variety of cases, including assaults, sexual battery, and drug offenses.
His responsibilities included handling General Courts Martial, Special and Summary Courts Martial, Article 15 hearings, and administrative boards. This military experience developed his trial skills and provided him with a unique perspective on the legal system. Following his military service, Mr. Lilly transitioned to civilian practice, beginning as an Assistant District Attorney in Savannah, Georgia, in 2007. There, he focused on prosecuting serious offenses, including DUI, domestic violence, vehicular homicide, and drug-related cases. His career continued to evolve when he became a Litigation Associate at Bose, McKinney & Evans in Indianapolis, Indiana, from 2008 to 2009, where he specialized in civil litigation, white-collar criminal defense, and professional liability defense. From 2011 to 2014, Mr.
Lilly served as an Assistant District Attorney in Fort Worth, Texas, where he handled a diverse range of misdemeanor and felony cases, including aggravated robbery, aggravated assaults, kidnapping, and drug offenses. In 2015, he founded Triple L Law PC in Lakewood, Colorado, where he continues to provide aggressive criminal defense representation.
