About Jaclyn E

Jaclyn E Alston earned her J.D. from Rutgers School of Law–Camden in 2022 after completing a B.A. in political science at Rutgers University–Camden in 2020. She arrived at law school following an undergraduate course of study that combined classroom work and practical projects tied to local government and policy. Those early academic experiences shaped how she approached legal studies and informed her decision to pursue practice in the Mid-Atlantic region.

While still in law school she gained practical courtroom and office experience. In 2021 she served as a law clerk at McOmber McOmber & Luber, P.C., where she assisted on case preparation, drafted pleadings and supported attorneys during discovery. The clerkship offered repeated exposure to litigation tasks and client intake. It also gave her a chance to learn firm procedures and courtroom logistics from junior and senior lawyers alike.

After finishing law school, Alston remained connected to professional circles. Since 2022 she has held memberships in bar-related organizations and local legal groups that provide continuing education and networking opportunities. Those affiliations have helped her stay current on procedural developments and regional case law. Colleagues say she is methodical in legal research and attentive when preparing trial materials.

Her practice draws on solid training in legal writing and trial support. She handles drafting matters, assists with depositions and manages document review in contested cases. Alston approaches each file with an eye for detail. She balances careful legal analysis with practical steps that move cases forward. She also spends time mentoring newer staff who join the firm, sharing techniques for organizing case files and tracking deadlines.

Today she is based at McOmber McOmber & Luber, P.C., and is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Her work remains grounded in courtroom preparation and client service. She currently practices at McOmber McOmber & Luber, P.C., serving clients in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
