About Jackie R
Jackie R Clowers earned a B.S. in Communications from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2008. She continued her legal studies at the University of Louisville and received a J.D. in 2012. Those formative years set the stage for a practice that crosses both insurance and litigation work.
While still in law school she gained hands-on courtroom exposure. In 2011 she served as an extern in the Jefferson County Lawyer's Office and worked as a law clerk for Krauser & Brown. Those roles involved research, drafting and assisting on matters that ranged from routine filings to contested proceedings.
After law school Clowers moved into roles that married legal analysis with claims work. In 2013 she took a position as a Subrogation Analyst at The Rawlings Company. There she dealt with subrogation files and recovery efforts, bringing a practical claims perspective to legal questions.
In 2015 she joined Waters, Tyler, Hofmann & Scott, LLC as an associate lawyer. The move put her back into a law firm environment, where she applied both her courtroom experience and her background in claims handling. Her time at the firm has involved working on civil matters and managing client-facing tasks that require coordination across insurers, counsel and opposing parties.
Clowers is admitted to practice in Kentucky and Indiana. That multi-state admission has allowed her to handle matters that cross jurisdictional lines and to approach disputes with attention to differing procedural rules.
