About Jackie Lynn
Jackie Lynn Riemenschneider built an academic foundation in languages before turning to law. She earned a B.A. in English and German in 1990, followed by an M.A. in German and English in 1996 from Texas Tech University. She later returned to Texas Tech University School of Law, completing her Juris Doctor in 2004 with coursework in bankruptcy and general law.
Her legal career began in a small-practice setting. She started at the Law Office of Walker Metcalf in 2003, first as a law clerk and later as an associate. That early experience exposed her to day-to-day casework and office practice. In 2005 she moved to Laney & Stokes, Lawyers LLC as an associate. A year later she opened a solo practice in West Texas under the Riemenschneider Law Office name, handling a range of matters typical for a sole practitioner.
Public service and local practice followed. In 2008 she served as an assistant district lawyer in the Guadalupe County District Lawyer’s Office. The next year she launched the Law Office of Jackie Riemenschneider-McCrary. Alongside her private work she has maintained ties to the local bar. She has been a member of the Comal County Bar Association since 2009 and has served in the Hill Country Breakfast Club, where she holds the office of president while remaining a member since 2009.
Her admitted jurisdictions include the State of Texas and the United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Northern and Western Districts of Texas. Those admissions align with her legal training in bankruptcy and general law and reflect steady involvement in Texas civil practice and bankruptcy matters. Over more than two decades in law, she has moved between associate roles, solo practice and a county prosecutor’s office, gaining familiarity with courtroom procedures and client counseling. She currently practices through the Riemenschneider-McCrary Law Office, handling matters consistent with her bankruptcy training and general civil practice.
