About Jack
Jack Litwak earned his J.D. from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in 2014 after completing a B.A. in psychology at the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2010. He entered legal practice soon after law school and moved quickly through a mix of clerking, public defense and private firm roles that shaped his courtroom work.
Litwak began his legal career in clerkship positions while he was still in law school. Early stints included work at The Brill Law Office and the Law Office of Michael Cordova. He also served as a Rule 38 certified practice lawyer for both the Maricopa County Public Defender's Office in 2013 and the City of Phoenix Public Defender in 2014, roles that gave him early trial exposure.
After graduation he worked at a series of firms and offices that broadened his practice. In 2015 he joined Elardo, Bragg & Rossi, and the following year he moved to Christian, Dichter & Sluga. In 2017 he returned to public defense as a lawyer in the Maricopa County Public Defender’s Office. Prior to law school he spent time in the insurance industry as a bodily injury adjuster for Allstate in 2011, an experience that informed his understanding of insurance practice and claims handling.
In 2019 Litwak opened his own firm, Litwak Law Group, PLLC. He has handled both criminal defense matters and civil cases that intersect with insurance and personal injury issues. Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparation and steady in court. He has admitted appellate and federal practice credentials that allow him to appear beyond state trial courts.
He maintains admissions in Arizona, the United States District Court for the District of Arizona, and the Ninth Circuit. His professional memberships include the Arizona Association of Defense Counsel, the American Bar Association, the Arizona Association of Criminal Justice, and Arizona Lawyers for Criminal Justice. Those affiliations reflect his continuing ties to both criminal justice and civil defense communities.
Litwak’s background blends public defense experience with private practice and claims-side work. That mix shows in how he approaches case strategy and client counseling. He continues to lead Litwak Law Group, representing clients in criminal matters and civil disputes, including insurance-related bodily injury cases, in Arizona and in federal courts where he is admitted.
